What is Thrive Market?
Thrive Market is an American membership-based online market offering natural and organic products. Thrive offers over 6,000 wholesome food, home, and beauty products that are curated for each member, allowing for the highest quality, healthy and sustainable products available to fit your budget and particular lifestyle.
More specifically, Thrive Market is a market focused on supporting 5 things:
- Organic Farming
- Non-GMO’s (there is not one product containing GMOs at Thrive Market)
- Non-Toxic Products (every product is screened for 550+ chemicals to assure safety and quality)
- Consumer Needs (they cater and allow you to search based on the needs of over 70 different diets, allergies, and lifestyle factors)
So basically you get a market with unbelievably high-quality and clean products at significantly reduced prices compared to any other market since the only thing they focus on is clean brands.
Think Costco, but smaller quantities delivered to your doorstep and solely focused on high-quality, clean products. Plus nowadays, who doesn’t want to shop from the comfort of their own home? I mean, what’s not to love?!

Thrive Market not only works like your average website in that you can browse and search for the products you want, but it also serves as your personal grocery shopper! They get to know your individual preferences from day 1 and tailor the shopping recommendations.
When you first sign up for Thrive Market, you will be given the option to go through several questions asking what types of products and preferences you have. Are you interested in skincare products, snacks, or home cleaning products? Do you have diet preferences such as paleo, keto, or vegan. etc.?
This survey allows the Thrive Team to make accurate recommendations based on what you want. Who wants to see recommendations for skincare products when they really want gourmet nut butters and gluten free snacks?
See the screenshot to see what the survey is like (it only takes 2-3 minutes to complete and you can skip it if you want). We LOVE this because it takes some thinking and site-searching off your plate. Totally ideal for busy bees like ourselves! Let’s be honest, we all love saving time in the department of grocery shopping…
What is the Cost to Use Thrive Market?
There is a free 30-day trial and two membership options which will give you access to Thrive Market: a yearly membership fee for $59.95 (just $5/month on average) OR a monthly membership for $9.95. While no one wants to pay a membership fee, like big-box warehouse clubs, you will likely make up the cost of your yearly membership quickly and make significant savings in the process.
Still on the fence as to whether or not you will be able to save that much money throughout the year? Fear not, because if you do not make back the money you spent on your yearly membership, Thrive will credit you the difference toward your purchased the following year!!!
For example, if you only saved $45 throughout the year and you paid $60 for your yearly membership, Thrive will add $15 “Thrive Cash” to your account after you renew.
Don’t forget, to make potential new members comfortable with giving Thrive Market a try, they offer a 30-day free trial once you sign up. Simply cancel before the 30 days is up and you won’t be charged a cent.

Sticking to their desire to meet the needs of a wide variety of customers, they offer several bonus options that are usually really awesome- ranging from organic coconut oil, grass-fed beef sticks, rejuvenating facial scrubs, a flavorful coffee + barista cream combo, and more.
So, lets sum it all up. Here is what new members get with an annual membership:
- Free 30-day trial
- Free bonus gift to pick with your first order

They make it really hard to resist trying and we can promise you, its worth it. We’ve been using it for years for a reason. Take advantage of all the welcome bonuses!
Not only do we love Thrive for their quality food and products, but their commitment to making healthy living accessible for all is truly inspiring.
Thrive Market matches every paid membership with a free membership for a low-income family, student, teacher, veteran, or first responder.
In a competitive market with so many companies clawing for our money, we definitely prefer to shop with companies that are trying to make the world a better place with their profits.

The 12 Best Thrive Market Products
While we love so many products that Thrive offers, today we want to focus on 12 of our absolute favorite Thrive Market brands that we order on a consistent basis. Many of these products have been noted in other Thrive Market reviews as well.
The deals you’ll snatch on some of these top brands cannot be beaten elsewhere. We have truly saved hundreds of dollars over the years, no exaggeration, on high-quality food, personal care, and household products that we absolutely love.
Here are 12 of our favorite brands to purchase from Thrive Market in no particular order.
1. Artisana Cashew Butter $13.49 vs $17.99
High-quality nut butter (besides peanut butter which actually is a legume 🙂) can truly break the bank, especially when you go through it as much as us. We are suckers for the Artisana brand, which can be priced as high as $5 more than other leading brands. However, Thrive puts that $5 back in your pocket pretty quickly with their price.
Why do we love Artisana so much? Most nut butters on the market are filled with a million and one ingredients such as soybean oil, palm oil, gums, and a variety of added sugars. Even some organic, high-quality brands will add a few ingredients like palm oil to create a better texture though the oil provides no beneficial nutritional value to us.
Artisana keeps it as simple as humanly possible and typically includes just one simple ingredient in their nut butters. This product in particular includes only cashews and this is exactly what we want to be looking for!
Curious how to use nut butter other than on a sandwich?!
The options are endless but some of our favorite options are:
- As a dip with fruit and veggies like apples and carrots (yes, we do like carrots with nut butters. Try it!)
- Adding a tiny spoonful on top of each bite of a banana, which also makes for improved blood sugar stabilization and keeps you full longer!
- Drizzled on top of a smoothie bowl or simply added to a post-workout shake
- As an ingredient in baked goods such as banana bread or paleo cookies
- Spread on top of a rice cake and topped with blueberries for a midday snack
2. Primal Kitchen Mayo $7.49 vs $9.99
The ingredients in this jar are the cleanest we’ve come across when it comes to mayo including Avocado Oil, Organic Cage-Free Eggs, Organic Egg Yolks, Organic Vinegar, Sea Salt, and Rosemary Extract. This really isn’t a surprise though coming from Primal Kitchen. They’re an awesome brand and we buy many of their products on Thrive including their BBQ sauce.
Amazon typically carries this product for no less than $9 or $10, and we have even seen it as high as $12 in-store. So, buying it on Thrive for $7.49 sure makes you feel good.
Try this product out next time you’re looking to make a tuna or chicken salad, and you will never go back!
3. Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers: $4.49 vs $5.49
For those with gluten sensitivities or those who just love a great-tasting cracker without the garbage ingredients, but need something crunchy for a snack, Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers will not let you down.
When we aren’t dipping these guys in hummus or guacamole, we love to crush a few up and use them as “croutons” on a salad or as “breadcrumbs” in our black bean burgers!
4. Acure Brightening Night Cream Moisturizer $12.99 vs $17.99
We are learning more and more about how personal care and home products are tainted with offensive chemicals and endocrine-disrupting substances that may drive hormonal imbalances.
Prices for toxic-free personal care products can be quite high, and sometimes it may feel easier to stick with their cheaper counterpart as a result. However, Thrive makes it possible to afford safer products without breaking the bank.
Acure sources the highest-quality ingredients for their skin products and produce them without parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, paraffin, and are free of animal testing! If you join, be sure to try out some of their products for 25-30% cheaper on Thrive.
5. Siete Tortilla Chips $3.99 vs $4.99
We work with many individuals who struggle with digesting corn which is a major problem since it can be found in so many foods including tortilla wraps, chips, dressings, crackers, fruit snacks, sauces…you name it!.
Don’t fret! We have an alternative that will make you question how you’ve lived life without them for so long! Siete is a small, family-owned company focused on making allergen-free foods that are not only good substitutes but are as close to the real thing as it gets.
You will be highly impressed with how incredible these chips taste. Bring as a side dish with fresh salsa for your next family gathering or enjoy as a midday snack dipped in some guacamole.
Thrive cuts $1 off of the retail price for this product, which makes all the difference over time! (Let’s also mention that you are supporting a family of 7 who dealt with their fair share of autoimmune disease over the years.)
6. Bob’s Red Mill Almond Flour $8.99 vs $12.99
Bob’s Red Mill has some of the highest quality baking products, and almond flour is a staple for nutrient-dense cooking and baking. The price difference between Thrive Market and other retailers is significant at $4. You simply cannot beat that.
7. The Honest Co. Shampoo and Conditioner Bundle $14.95 vs $19.90
Another personal care steal Thrive offers is toxin-free shampoo and conditioner, again making toxic-free living more affordable. The prices of these products are comparable to name brand standard personal care products you will find online or in-store!
8. Nutiva Organic Virgin Coconut Oil $16.49 vs $22.99
Another house staple is coconut oil. This extremely versatile oil comes in handy when doing high-heat cooking such as roasted potatoes in the oven or sauteing broccoli on the stove. Coconut can also be thrown into a smoothie or homemade protein bites and a nice dose of healthy fat!
Getting your coconut oil organic is ideal, and it can get expensive when purchasing high quality. Organic coconut oil by Nutiva is almost $6 cheaper than retail prices, which is a huge savings over time.
9. Epic Bars 12 ct $25.99 vs $30.00
It can be very hard to find snacks that are adequate in protein yet not filled with sugar and preservatives. Especially for individuals who struggle to digest dairy, they may lack protein from animal products and end up relying too much on carbohydrates throughout the day.
Epic bars are rich in high-quality grass-fed or wild-caught meat, wholesome vegetables, fruit, nuts, and seeds making for a balanced midday snack when you’re on-the-go running from work, to the gym, or between classes.
You may pay $3 for a single bar in-store making a dozen $36. However, you can cut $10 off by purchasing a case of 12 through Thrive Market. They are a wide variety of meat options with varying flavors, and to be honest, we haven’t tasted one we haven’t liked yet! (Try the Bison Bacon Cranberry or Lamb Current Mint, they’re our favorites)
10. Organic Wine Bundles $12.99-$15.99 per bottle vs $15.00 – $17.00 on average
Are you a vino lover but fed up with that funky hangover feeling after a single glass of wine?!
Everyone should be able to enjoy a quality glass of wine, symptom-free. Not to mention get your dose of resveratrol, a potent antioxidant found in the skin of grapes found in red wine.
The way to enjoy your wine without the unwanted symptoms is to purchase wine that is at least one of the following:
- Absent of pesticides and added sugars
- Produced from a family-owned business
- Sustainably produced
We often underestimate how contaminated our conventional wine can be with pesticides, chemicals, added sulfites, sugars, and dye that leave you feeling crummy.
Thrive offers amazing clean and/or organic wine bundles that end up cheaper if not the same price as non-organic wine.
11. Jovial Crushed Tomatoes $2.69 vs $6.00
Tomatoes are very acidic, meaning they’re more likely to leach the aluminum can lining found with many products. For this reason, glass jars the best.
We also love that Jovial tomatoes are made with only tomatoes since most products are also filled with additives and sugar. This may sound like a broken record but the least amount of ingredients, the better off you are.
And as you may expect, the price on Thrive is significantly lower!
12. Simply Organic Vanilla Extract $14.99 vs $21.59
Vanilla extract can be very expensive if you are looking to get the real stuff! The one available on Thrive is similar to many non-organic brands found in stores, so it’s always on our list since we love baking with vanilla.
You can even throw it into your shake or smoothie after a tough workout for some natural flavoring!
The 8 Best Thrive Market Products (The Best of Thrive Branded Products)
Over the last couple of years, Thrive Market has been rolling out more and more of its own brand of products. Just like other major retailers have their own generic brands that are often just as good as many popular brands, Thrive has followed suit except that their brand is focused on generic versions of extremely clean and high-quality brands. Whether its grass-fed collagen peptides, organic coconut wraps, or non-toxic baby diapers, Thrive has a number of options of their-brand of products that will without a doubt be a bargain price compared to buying a similar product anywhere else.
In fact, Michael and Kylene swear that the Thrive diapers are hands down the best of any brand they’ve tried. They’ve tried diapers from all kinds of brands (Michael received a lot of different brands from his “diaper party” with his buddies”) and they have also purchased from places like Costco. Name brand and generic brands aside, they swear there is nothing that beats Thrive Brand diapers.
So, out of the many that are available, what are the best Thrive Market brand products? Here is a list of a few of the favorites that we order regularly:
- Non-toxic baby diapers (trust us Moms and Moms-to-be…these are the real deal!) $31.99 for almost 100 diapers!
- Ready-Made Meal Bundle $99.00 vs $130.00 compared to other meal-prep services
- Thrive Essential Oils $4.99
- Organic Turmeric Powder $6.99 – Turmeric is one of the best anti-inflammatory supplements for athletes ever!
- Organic Coconut Wraps $7.49
- Organic Brown Rice Spaghetti $2.79
- Grass-fed Collagen Peptides $24.99
- Unbleached Parchment Baking Paper $4.89
So there it is folks! Our Thrive Market review. We hope you better understand now why we support this company and have a more clear idea of the incredible products you can start saving on today.
We anticipate that you’ll be thrilled with Thrive Market for buying food and many other household/personal-care products, but if for some reason you purchase a product you’re not happy with, the Thrive Market return policy is outstanding! If for any reason you’re unhappy with a product, simply contact them within 21 days and they will issue you a credit for future purchases or find a way to remedy the situation. Keeping in line with their focus on sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint, they do not accept returned items and instead issue credits and when appropriate ask the items to be donated to a local Foodbank (they will even help you find the one closest to you!).
